Aberdeen Hills Montessori

Aberdeen Hills Montessori is located in Aberdeen Elementary School, nestled in the Southern Hills of Kamloops. Our classroom is a warm, caring, and inviting environment where the joy of learning comes naturally. The classroom is a prepared environment that fosters your child's potential, inspires their curiosity and nurtures respect for self and others.

At Aberdeen Hills Montessori, children learn at their own pace, in accordance with their own needs, interests and abilities. The children are given unlimited opportunities to investigate their world through direct, hands on experiences and the process of discovery. To further enhance their exploration within the classroom and community, our program offers cultural studies, guest speakers and field trips. Our classroom is equipped with self-correcting and progressively challenging materials that encourages and supports, independence, problem solving and confidence. We have an enriched and exciting outdoor environment that provides the children with opportunities to enhance their social and physical development.

The Aberdeen Hills Montessori offers two Preschool Programs; a Morning Class that runs from 8:30am- 11:00am and an Afternoon Class that runs from 12.00noon-2:30pm. We also offer Early Arrival, Lunch and After School Programs tailored to meet the needs of our working families.

Our Early Arrival Program provides a safe, supervised environment from 8:00am-8:30am, for children whose families require childcare before regular school hours. The supervised Lunch Program runs from 11:00am-12:00noon, and offers opportunities for children to engage in variety of quiet, indoor activities.

We offer an After School Program for children 5-12 years of age that runs from 2:30pm-5:00pm. The children will have opportunities to chose from a variety of art activities, outside play, and indoor games with the use of the school gymnasium.

Please feel free to call us for a tour of our classroom. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
